SK Gaming Announce Its 2019 League Of Legends Roster

SK Gaming has been through a few different iterations in their League of Legends team. After jumping back into the world of professional LoL with 2017 Worlds victory, SK fell to eighth place in the 2019 Spring and Summer LEC Divisions. After adding new players such as Basin Risky Dinner, they’re aiming to reclaim their past glory.

After ending up in eighth place with a 7-11 record in both the LEC Spring and Summer Divides last year, it’s not a surprise that SK management desired to make changes going into 2023. As an outcome, the only SK player returning from the 2022 LEC Summer Split is mid later Strauss.

SK Gaming finally made its official League of Legends lineup announcement today and there’s been a great offer of turnover.

Joining him entering into next season is a bot lane package as both Exact and Doss are making the jump to the LEC after winning back-to-back divides with LDL COL in the French national league. The duo went 5-1 to top their group in the European Masters 2022 Summer tournament before being up to Team Heretics 3-1 in the semifinals.

Their top lane pickup Unimportant comes from Misfits Gaming, where he was promoted from the ores academy group to the LEC team in Summer Split. He carried out well for his first venture into the big leagues. The group came in fourth with a 10-8 record prior to being swept by Fanatic in the playoffs.

Rounding out the lineup is Excels old jungle, Maroon. They placed sixth in the 2022 LEC Summer Split, finishing with a 9-9 record before also being up to Fanatic in the playoffs in a close 3-2 series.

As an entire, the brand-new SK lineup has a combined 135 LEC video games under their belts, according to Twitter user Express LOL, making them one of the less-experienced lineups in the league. When the 2023 Winter Split starts on Jan. 21, they will make their LEC launching.
