Developed by Luminous Productions, the team behind Final Fantasy XV, Forspoken Worlds Collide tells the story of Freya, a common New York that is transported to Athia, a magical world full of monsters and magic. The players will help guide Freya through these various obstacles and battles in the search for her to return to the real world using her new magical skills. Forspoken has been delayed once again and will now launch on January 2. May 24, 2023. The initial launch date was scheduled for May 24, 2022.
The first delay occurred in March, since it was said that the game would not leave until October 11, 2022.
In the announcement, Luminous Productions developer said:
Our vision for this new and exciting IP is to offer a world of play and a hero that players around the world will want to experience in the coming years, so doing it well is extremely important for us.
To that end, for the next months we will concentrate all our efforts to polish the game and we cannot wait for Frey’s trip to this fall.
Is Forspoken to PS4?
Unfortunately, no, Forspoken will not reach PS4. On the other hand, the game is exclusive to PlayStation 5 and shows what is capable of Sony’s last hardware with impressive images and a large amount of particle effects that will surely give life to the fight of the game.
