In 1997 Blade Runner A PC arrived, and at the time he was praised for his history and use the property created by Ridley Scott. Now, more than 20 years later, this title has finally received its expected remastering, which you can now play in basically all current platforms.
Originally, NightDive Studios, the study that has been in charge of this work, promised that remastering would be available in 2020, the same year in which this project was announced. However, complications continued delaying and delaying the promised date. The main reason we had to wait for more, was that the original source code and the title materials were lost . In this way, the team had to perform reverse engineering for the creation of blade Runner: Enhanced Edition.
This remastering not only allows us to enjoy this classic today, but also includes improved graphics of higher quality, improvements in subtitles, greater resolution for the kinematics of the game , substantial improvement in SPFs, compatibility with current controls, anisotropic filtrate for textures, clues interface, and improvements for the ACI (integrated knowledge assistant).
Although the game is called blade Runner, in reality here we do not play as Rick Deckhard, but as Ray McCoy, a blade runner who must hunt a group of replicants who have rebelled. Although we do not find Harrison Ford trace, the story develops in parallel to his adventure, E includes Sean Young as Rachel, as well as Vangelis’s music, the composer of the film.
**Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition_ is available for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. Similarly, Mod combines the worlds of blade Runner and Cyberpunk 2077.
Editor’s note:
It is good to see that this type of jobs finally come true. More than money, this was a project for the love of art, and as a way of conserving and restoring what was once forgotten. Hopefully this is not the last of this type.
