Character creation in Final Fantasy XIV can be a bit confusing. You have to choose your breed, your gender and the God under which you were born, and all of these decisions must be made before you know something about the game world. Many players were concerned when creating their character if one of these decisions plays a role because it would be terrible to get to the final and find out that they can never be the best because they chose the wrong breed at the beginning. Let us discuss what the advantage of every race in Final Fantasy XIV is and whether it is important what you choose.
Which race should you choose and play a role?
In many other MMOs, their decisions affect some aspects of their character during the character. In World of Warcraft, various breeds have racial skills and some small stat boosts. So the question is what your breed in Final Fantasy XIV does for your character. Apart from a height difference, every race has a very small statistics boost. However, the Stat-Boost is so low that it is practically not available.
It is so small that in endgame content it doesn’t even come into play. There will be no RAID group that will reject you because you play a Hyur Ninja via a Miqo’te Ninja. This means that you can use some of the best GIL FARMING methods regardless of your breed. Apart from that, the only restrictions that have breeds for their character are cosmetic in nature. Each breed has its own racial armor when they are on fashion.
Some breeds cannot wear hats either, but they are warned when creating character if their breed cannot wear helmets and hats. It should also be noted that Hrothgar can only be men at the moment, but that will change in the future, so let yourself be held back.
