Square Enix will react the free Final Fantasy XIV tests this week.
Ultimately Official Stream, producer Naoki Yoshida has confirmed that the free trial of popular MMORPG will be available again as of February 22.
Free trials were deactivated at the end of last year, to try to avoid the serious problems of congestion and queues on the servers after the publication of the last expansion, Endwalker. The situation was so chaotic that it was even decided to stop selling the game temporarily so as not to aggravate these problems, and Final Fantasy XIV did not put on sale again until a few weeks ago.
Despite everything, they are good times for Final Fantasy XIV. The game is being a success, and recently Yoshida announced that the deep dungeons, one of the great requests of the fans, would return soon as part of the 6.0 series of patches of the game, the first of which is scheduled for next month.
The MMORPG, in addition, is the most profitable delivery within the Final Fantasy franchise, currently having more than twenty-four million players. This milestone has been achieved eleven years after its original publication, one that was also wrapped in trouble and forced its responsible to redesign the game for a relaunch with Realm Reborn in 2013.
